Objective: To adequately service, install and troubleshoot wall hung HVAC equipment.
Install a complete package HVAC & peripheral equipment from material supplied
Read & interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, use latest technology in diagnostics and repairs
Advanced troubleshooting of HVAC, including harmonics & compatibility issues
Understand thermal dynamics & pressures as they relate to cooling and heating systems
Diagnose HVAC electrical component /attachment problems
Recognize, diagnose & source replacement parts
Accurately evaluate parts reusability & perform repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
Properly use diagnostic tooling & literature to troubleshoot machine systems & components
Accountable for quality measurements, follow established policies & procedures
Provide timely high-quality repairs as needed, provide completed service reports accurately and timely
Safely operate heavy equipment, forklifts and mobile cranes according to OSHA regulations
Must understand basic tool functions including safe & proper tool operations
Share technical information with appropriate parties
Other duties as assigned to meet business needs
Journeyman a plus but not required. Must be available to work irregular hours, weekends & holidays as needed, out-of-town travel with overnight stay is mandatory as needed
Must have basic hand tools - multimeter, standard and metric socket and wrench sets, screw drivers,
Allen wrenches, pliers and crimpers etc.
Technical school, automotive or transportation fields, commercial and/or residential electric and like
military experiences are preferred.
Must show mechanical & electrical aptitude & show past experience in mechanical & electrical fields
Demonstrate basic written & verbal communication skills and show competence in discussing abstract
and complicated problems with peers in the industry.
Must show a desire & willingness to learn and use new technologies
Desire and show ability to mentor and share knowledge with other technicians
Warehouse and outdoor on-job sites, work primarily off-site with minimum supervision
Must be able to stand, bend and lift 85 lbs
Hours: Full Time (+ overtime as needed/required)
Job is expected to include lots of travel, both in OK as well as outside the state, and work primarily off-site with minimum supervision.
Daily Per Diem when traveling: $125.00 (90.00 hotel allowance, $35.00 food allowance). Employee responsible for making his/her own hotel accommodations
Pay based on experience
Must have valid OK drivers license (CLEAN MVR)
Pass Drug Screen/random drug screens
Pass national background check
